Manhattan with family

Day 20

June 25 2011

First we had this amazing breakfast which was Apple Pancakes. They were delicious. Auntie Carol and Mom picked us up and we headed into the city. 

There we went to get a reservation at a Chinese restaurant called Shun Lee.  I went inside and put lots of mints in my pockets…. About 20 of them.

Then we went to the movie theater to see a documentary called Buck. We learnt that you have to treat horses like people, kind and gentle.

We then went for a walk in Central park

 where we saw a young pianist who looked about nine years old and he played the piano in the middle of the park like he was just randomly moving fingers and he made the piano sing. 

Afterwards we ate dinner and I got way more mints

The girls heaeded to the Ballet Cinderella and we went to the wax museum where I met The Dalai Lama. Which is special to me because my Auntie Carol has a Tibetan Buddhist Charity it's amazing what she does. Plus I finally got to see the crown of the Statue of Liberty.

Day 12

Ashley and I by the Plaza with our zodiac signs

This morning we got up and went to leave our bags at Brads work place.  Then we went to eat brunch. For brunch I ate a chocolat croissant, an éclaire and, a Merange thingy. After that really yummy moment we went to take a picture with the iron bull at Wall St. 

Then it started raining so we took the subway to the Nike store. We met daddy at a starbucks in the Trump Tower.  When we finished we went back to Brads work and told him that we were going to the train station and got the express train all the way to Chappaqua, which is where Brad and Diana live. After that we played a little with our cousins, ate dinner and went to Auntie Carol’s to sleep.

TODAY WE WOKE UP IN UNCLE JEFFERY’S APARTMENT WHICH IS SOOOOO COOOOL IN NYC. I LOVE IT. WE WENT TO DEAN AND DELUCA’S FOR BREAKFAST BUT IT’S NOT THERE ANYMORE IT IS NOW CALLED BOUCHON bakery. WE ATE AND ATE AND ATE LOTS OF YUMMY FOOD. WE WENT ON A SUBWAY TRAIN TO GO DOWN TO WALL ST. WE WEREN’T ALLOWED IN BECAUSE IT’S A SAFETY ISSUE SO WE VISITED THe BULL. these are the steps where George Washington was inaugurated.

WE THEN WENT SHOPPING AT THE NIKE STORE AND IT WAS PORING DOWN WITH RAIN THEN WE  

TOOK A TRAIN BACK TO CHAPpaQUA AND HAD A BBQ AT DIANAS HOUSE THEN WE ALL WENT TO AUNTIE CAROLS HOUSE AND WENT TO BED the end!!!
