Manhattan with family

Day 20

June 25 2011

First we had this amazing breakfast which was Apple Pancakes. They were delicious. Auntie Carol and Mom picked us up and we headed into the city. 

There we went to get a reservation at a Chinese restaurant called Shun Lee.  I went inside and put lots of mints in my pockets…. About 20 of them.

Then we went to the movie theater to see a documentary called Buck. We learnt that you have to treat horses like people, kind and gentle.

We then went for a walk in Central park

 where we saw a young pianist who looked about nine years old and he played the piano in the middle of the park like he was just randomly moving fingers and he made the piano sing. 

Afterwards we ate dinner and I got way more mints

The girls heaeded to the Ballet Cinderella and we went to the wax museum where I met The Dalai Lama. Which is special to me because my Auntie Carol has a Tibetan Buddhist Charity it's amazing what she does. Plus I finally got to see the crown of the Statue of Liberty.

Bowling in White Plains

Day 19

June 24 2011

We played at Auntie Carol and Uncle Stephen’s house. After lunch we met Sofia and Abby at the bowling alley. Sofia was so funny because she screamed every time she bowled.

Later on we went back to Auntie Carol house, where we played more Mille Bornes which is game I absolutely love.

Auntie Carol taught me how to balance the chemicals in the pool water. We used a mini cup and blue, red and green drops for hardness, alkalinity, and pH in the water. We added baking soda to raise the pH. It felt like I was having a chemistry class.

Went to sleep at 1:30am OMG.

Abby's Graduation

Day 18

June 23

First we got up early in the morning and went to Abby’s Graduation.

 It was so long (sigh). After that we went to Aunt Carol’s house and went in the pool.  After that really fun moment we played Mille Bornes (French Game) it is so much fun. Then we went out for Abby’s Graduation dinner it was soooooo good. Curry which is Abby's favorite.

Day 17

In the morning we got up ate breakfast and went to the beach and ran away from the waves but this time I didn’t get wet. When we went back up to the house we had to leave back to NY City then from NY City we went to Aunt Carol’s house so we hung out there until we went out for dinner at this Mexican restaurant, the food was so good (Nachos). Then we went to sleep.

Bonfire

Day 16

June 21 2011

First I woke up 10:00 again and this time I missed Breakfast. So I just ate some orange juice. After that we went to the beach and the Piping Clovers all most killed us again but it was fun. After that we played fetch with Vino in to the ocean.  After that we went back up and then we went to go get Ashley’s ears pierced.  After Ashley’s moment we went back to Matts house then we all went to a shower it was so HOT!!! It felt like eating a sticky Bunwhich is one of my favorite things. So then when I finished with the shower we got dressed ready to have a special dinner as it was Matt’s grandma’s birthday so she had a cake, after dinner we had a big bonfire and we made smores, with huge marshmallows, they we amazing.

 Then we went to sleep.

Day 15

June 20 2011

First we I got up at 10:00 AM I was tired then Mark made me a really good bagel with egg sausage and some kind of sauce but it was AMAZING.  I can taste it right now!! After that really yummy moment we just played at the beach with dad in the morning because dad had to go back to Miami because of a meeting he has to participate in. Any way we went down to the beach and the Terns were dive bombing us and they all most killed us. It was fun. Then we had to go back up to the house because dad is going to Miami. When he left we went back down to the beach mom and I got soaked running from the waves.  It was amazing. After that wet moment we went back to the house and dried off and got in the shower. It felt sooooooo good, and then we ate dinner, but I forgot what the dinner was but all I remember is that it is so GOOD. Then we went to sleep.

Day 14 

June 19 2011

First me and Matt wake up and went down stairs to play black cops.  So we played for 30 minutes before Bella and Ashley came down and wanted to play this dance thingy so we as boys said no but then we said yes because it was ASHLEY'S BIRTHDAY.  So we let the girls play there dance thingy and it wasn’t that bad. 

Then we went upstairs and ate breakfast whatever it was it was great!!! When we finished we took a walk down the beach and the water was so cold. After that we went strawberry picking so when we first got there Matt got a wagon and told me pull him  into a big puddle it was funny and the mud was really gooey, and then we went to get us some strawberries so we did that for about 15 minutes then we gave up and stopped and played until we had to leave. Then we played at Matt’s house. After that we ate dinner and sang Ashley happy birthday and I think Ashley got a few more presents than me, and her cake OMG IT WAS GREAT. Then we went to sleep. zzz zzz

Day 13

This morning had breakfast with my cousins at Aunt Carol’s house when we finished we went in the pool all of us even Sofia it was super fun. After that we went to dry off and get dressed. Then we left to the Hamptons to meet Bella and Matt. After the long and boring drive we finally got there. 

We played on the gulf cart the hole time at the vineyard. When we finished we went to Matt’s house and ate dinner, then watched a movie and went to sleep.

Day 12

This morning we got up and went to leave our bags at Brads work place.  Then we went to eat brunch. For brunch I ate a chocolat croissant, an éclaire and, a Merange thingy. After that really yummy moment we went to take a picture with the iron bull at Wall St. 

Then it started raining so we took the subway to the Nike store. We met daddy at a starbucks in the Trump Tower.  When we finished we went back to Brads work and told him that we were going to the train station and got the express train all the way to Chappaqua, which is where Brad and Diana live. After that we played a little with our cousins, ate dinner and went to Auntie Carol’s to sleep.

Statue of Liberty

Day 11

June 16 2011

This morning we got up and went to at Aunt Carol’s house to eat breakfast and then we went in the pool remember the really fast pool with the gets that go really, really fast!! After we went in the pool we went to go find dad at the intrepid the intrepid is an air and space museum but we didn’t get to go in the museum. Instead we took a nice COLD BUSSS, with free Wi-Fi. So then I had to E-mail my blog to Mom. After the long and cold bus ride we got off at the ferry and the security to get on the ferry is worse than the airport it was funny. When we got on the ferry dad wanted to go on the top but he couldn’t because it was full so we went to the bow and felt the breeze. It was really nice.

 When we got off of the ferry we went to visit the Statue of Liberty. She is not as big as I imagined. She is made mostly of copper which when exposed to the outside air turns green. After the Statue we got back onto another ferry and went to Ellis Island. That is where the immigrants stayed when they were seeking a better life in America. It looked like there sleeping conditions were awful I wouldn’t want to have done that.

We looked for some of our family members because we knew they came through here.

Following that we took a ferry ride back to TKTS in Time Square bought some tickets to see “The Adams family”. We had dinner before the show and the show was amazing. It was helarious. 

I managed to get a taxi after the show dad was shocked. Back at the hotel we crashed. Exhausted….

summer fun!!!

      today we took a walked on the beach and i got really freaked out by these super weird bug things. then we went to 

the porch and waved good buy to daddy and mark because they where both fling to miami but isabella wasn’t there to say good buy to her dad because she had to be in school saddly. but after her school when we went to pick her up i got to meet some of her friends in westhampton.  before we picked up isabella nikki and I got a chocolate dipped cone which is a regular cone with vanilla ice cream and the vanilla ice cream is dipped in melted chocolate. after the ice cream we picked up isabella and went to the vineyard at the vineyard we planted some little lavender plants that smell really good. also when we where at the vineyard we watered some tomatoes. after the vineyard we went to greenport and ate some dinner and it wasn’t that good.

 then on the way back mathew was acting really weird than we went to bed!!!

I WOKE UP NEXT TO BELLA AND IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY..... YEAH!!!!!!! FINALLY. 

WE ALL HAD BAGELS TOGETHER THEN I OPENED ALL MY PRESENTS. 

I GOT A LAVA LAMP, A PURSE, A SCARF,  FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS, A BACK PACK AND LUNCH BOX, AN I TUNES GIFT CARD, ALSO LOTS OF THINGS FROM AMERICAN GIRL, A SHIRT THAT MATCHES BELLA’S. WOW THERE IS MORE.... A READING LIGHT BULB, AND A LITTLE PURSE. I GOT REALLY SPOILT ON MY BIRTHDAY, I AM THE LUCKIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD. OH!!! I’M ALSO ALLOWED TO GET MY EARS PIERCED ON THE 21ST JUNE.

WE WENT TO THE BEACH AND PLAYED FOR A WHILE THEN WE SHOWERED AND WENT TO JAMESPORT VINEYARD AND PLAYED IN THE FIELD THERE WAS A BIG PARTY AT THAT VINEYARD. THEN WE WENT STRAWBERRY PICKING AND IT WAS REALLY FUN. AFTER THAT WE CAME BACK TO WESTHAMPTON AND HAD DINNER AT THE TOBIN’S HOUSE. I HAD A BIG BIRTHDAY CAKE AND EVERYBODY SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, I LOVED IT. THEN WE WENT TO BED!!!

Summer fun!!!

   today we woke at auntie carol’s and we ate some french toast it was really good. then we went in the pool with abby, sophia, auntie carol, max and mommy. after the pool we headed out to matt and isabella’s vineyard and picked some carrots in the garden of the vineyard and we also played in the vines and we got to drive the golf cart it was so much fun. then we came home and ate dinner wHIch was    

chinese and two different types of pizzas, one of them was grandmas pizza and the other one i forgot. then we just hung out and went to bed!!!

TODAY WE WOKE UP IN UNCLE JEFFERY’S APARTMENT WHICH IS SOOOOO COOOOL IN NYC. I LOVE IT. WE WENT TO DEAN AND DELUCA’S FOR BREAKFAST BUT IT’S NOT THERE ANYMORE IT IS NOW CALLED BOUCHON bakery. WE ATE AND ATE AND ATE LOTS OF YUMMY FOOD. WE WENT ON A SUBWAY TRAIN TO GO DOWN TO WALL ST. WE WEREN’T ALLOWED IN BECAUSE IT’S A SAFETY ISSUE SO WE VISITED THe BULL. these are the steps where George Washington was inaugurated.

WE THEN WENT SHOPPING AT THE NIKE STORE AND IT WAS PORING DOWN WITH RAIN THEN WE  

TOOK A TRAIN BACK TO CHAPpaQUA AND HAD A BBQ AT DIANAS HOUSE THEN WE ALL WENT TO AUNTIE CAROLS HOUSE AND WENT TO BED the end!!!

SUMMER FUN!!!:)

   In the morning we woke up and went in Auntie Carol’s pool. After the pool we went to Manhattan by train. Then we went to find a taxi and the taxi took us to the hotel that daddy was staying at it was a very nice hotel. After we checked into the hotel we went on a tour with daddy to the Statue of Liberty and we got to go in the actual Statue it was pretty cool. We also went to Ellis Island. Then we took the subway to the TKTS and got some tickets for the Adam’s Family before the Adam’s Family started we went  to dinner and then we watched the show it was funny and went to bed!!!

Day 10

June 15 2011 MY BIRTHDAY

This morning I woke up at 4:00 AM because it was my BIRTHDAY and I was so happy so then we went to moms room so I can go back to sleep and mom wished me a happy birthday. So we went to sleep and woke up then at 8:00.  After that we went back to the room to get changed in to me favorite shirt and, my favorite shorts!!!!!!!  After that we went down stairs and talked for a long time then we went to Aunt Carol’s house to have breakfast and then I opened presents and I got exactly what I want so I am super happyJJ. I got a Lazar, buckyballs, more buckyballs and, Magic pennys.

Then we had a super cool swim in the pool and the pool has a jet that pushes you back, you can set it at a really fast pace and go vroom.  When we got out to shop it was so much fun. I <3 shopping. When we finished we went to swim again but even faster and we did it for 2 hours then we went go carting we went 8 mph it was so slow but we did it 4 times and ate dinner there it was super good. Then we drove home and I couldn’t go to sleep so they gave me nyquil and I was super drunk in 5 seconds it was hilarious then I went to sleep.

Day 9
June 14

First we got up and checked out of the hotel and went to see the wight house it was HUMONGOUS. 

His front garden was probably bigger than granddads field and granddads field is 5 achers BIG.  Then we left to New York from washington DC.  In the 3rd quarter of the drive we stopped to get GGGAAASSSS and a big beef jerky stick that was 2 feet long yum yummy yum. After the last 3 hours we got to New York.  Then we had to go to the American Girl Store.  It was boring but we met Auntie Carol there so we got Ashley some stuff for her birthday there.  After that we left and went to eat lunch at a cafe in Manhattan it was fun and I let Sophia try my hat on. She looked so cool. Then we went to their house Sophia and I played tag it was super fun she is fast but bad at hiding so I beat her.  Tag is supper exhausting.  So after that very exhausting moment I realized my birthday is tomorrow.So I fainted (Not), because I was so excited!!! I really can't wait for the day to come.......

So then we went to play WII sports resort dog fights, sword fights and, wake boarding.  So then me and sophia played tag again.     After that we played Wii again and it was so much FUN. After we played Wii we went to eat dinner and it was supper duper good.  (yum yum) Then we went to sleep!!!

Day 8 
June 13

First we got up and ate Frosties for breakfast. We left and took a taxi to the capital.  When we got there we took some pictures of the freedom statue.  So then we took a look around waiting for the tour and when the tour started we got headphones for the tour so she doesn't have to scream at us. 

During the tour in the capital you can fit the Statue of Liberty could fit in there it was tall. After the tour we went to our state senators executive's office and some people gave us a tour under the capital the short cut to the capital is under ground.  

 They gave us another tour of the capital. Afterwards we left the capital and went on the bus the double decker bus it was so much fun and the branches were so low it scratched dads bald spot. Afterwards we went out for dinner to a sushi place with a carousel I ate and ate and ate. Then we went to our room and went to sleep!!

Washington DC

Day 7
June 12

First we got up and ate fruit for breakfast and, walked for ever up to the train. When we got to the train station Dad tried to get the machine to work.  He tried and he tried and tried again, but he couldn't do it. So he gave up and asked some one how to do it. Then we went down a BIG ESCALATOR 
On to a train!!! And the train went SUPER FAST!!!
Close to the air and space Museum and when you just walk in you see tons of planes and jets it was amazing with the Apollo Capsule the actual Capsule do you know how you can tell how it was the actual one?  

 You can tell because of all the fiery marks on the bottom of the Capsule which is caused by the fire falling from the sky  in to the water. Then we went up another BIG ESCALATOR!!!
Up to this place where it shows you how an air craft carrier works it is so cool it's cooler than PEEING!!! 
After that we went to learn how the Americans ended the war with Japan, it's quite simple the Americans dropped an Atomic tvwmpnp Bomb then Japan surrendered. 
After the fact we went to eat because I was STARVING
I ate pizza it was YUMMY
 Continuing our tour we went to the space part ....We learnt about the Space Ship they used to go to the moon but I forgot what it's called. 
Any way we kept moving on to the space monkey.  He is pretty, pretty ugly. ( ha ha ha).

So then we left to the double decker BBBBBUUUSSS. 
To the Lincoln memorial it was HUMONGOUS.  On the wall there was the Gettesburg address. Then we took a bus back to the hotel and changed to go to a Chinese resterant in China Town it was fun and I ordered some really spicy chicken. When we left we saw this person doing some amazing paintings so Ashley wanted one, so she got one. Then we went back to the hotel and went to sleep

Williamsburg, Virginia to Washington, DC.

Day 6
June 11
This morning Mom let us sleep till 8:00 then we left to the same place we were yesterday. When we arrived we had a little tour with a lady who knew everything and gave us lots of advice.  Next we went to the wheel maker and we watched them make a wheel and how they were right next to the black smith place and they were making a rake handle. When we got there we took a tour where everything is were George Washington slept in his mansion and, you know John Hancock wanted to stop slavery even though he had slaves himself. 

Dieu et mon droit/ means God and my right.

After the fact we went to this court thing and dad got to be the lawyer and talked about stuff that I can't under stand but it was funny. 
Following that, we went to a shoe maker that made shoes.  

We went to get ice cream while we were eating ice cream we saw a parade with fifes and drums. 

So then we left to DC. And in the middle if the drive we went to 5 Guys and I had a really  oniony burger. We wrote our blogs in the car. When we got to Washington our hotel called The Hotel Monaco, Kimpton chain. When we checked in they offerd us a beer. The people were reallllly nice. Went to sleep
